Celebrating Local Legends

We are accepting nominations for our monthly ‘Local Legend’ feature. Sponsored by Nelson Auto Glass Specialists, our selected Local Legend will receive a bunch of flowers and a $50 Pressy Card, along with a photo and short story in our local paper.

Each month, Nelson Weekly publishes a ‘Local Legend’ feature that Nelson Auto Glass Specialists sponsor. A recipient is nominated by a member of the public and will receive a bunch of flowers and a $50 Pressy card – with a photo in the paper and a short 300-word article about the work that they do, and why they love it.  All we need to start with is the name, contact number, and a sentence or two about why you are nominating the person.

The recipient needs to be nominated for their community volunteering role, be happy to share their story with the Top of the South Feature Writer and have a photo with one of their sponsors.
