The Nelson Tasman Disability Providers Forum is an quarterly meeting with an overarching purpose of strengthening the sector to improve outcomes for the community.
This event is intended for providers, organisations and groups that support individuals and their families with disabilities.
Following feedback from our last meeting we will create a range of opportunities for sector networking along with presentations from Fire and Emergency NZ, The Buzz and the local Needs Assessment Service Coordination (NASC) team. More details on presentation content to come closer to the date.
Women of Worth – Move Up Programme
At Women of Worth we provide ways, founded on personal worth, for women in Aotearoa New Zealand to make the changes they desire in their lives. That’s our purpose, why we exist.
We are really excited to announce our Women of Worth – Move Up Programme is now being delivered in Nelson!
Our WOW programme is unique in that it focuses strongly on developing womens’ sense of worth, personal strengths, and purpose. When we have a strong foundation of our self-worth and self love, it allows us to grow and build in our confidence.
The outcomes for women after completing our Move Up Programme are truly impactful, ranging from increased self awareness and confidence to improved social skills and emotional regulation. By addressing these aspects, the programme not only helps women enhance their individual well-being but also strengthens their connections within the community.
