Motueka Active Aging Expo
Community groups, agencies, clubs, and individuals may like to join us for this inaugural Motueka expo. With no Richmond expo in 2023 it is hoped that Richmond and Nelson people will join us to celebrate International Day of the Older Person.
Up until August 31st potential stall holders are welcome to apply for one of the 35 odd sites (inside and out) available. Priority will be given to people able to bring the ‘active’ theme to the expo.
Today’s ‘older person’ is more independent, more active and self reliant. They are more than ever conscious about needing to maintain an enjoyable functional lifestyle and to remain active socially, mentally and physically.
Would you like to participate? Do you wish to showcase your club or service? Do you imagine you will join us for the day? We look forward to hearing from you. We are planning a fun day including raffles, experiences, demonstrations and activity options, all to celebrate the older person.
