Volunteering New Zealand and Hui E! Community Aotearoa and invite you to join us for an essential webinar on the recent changes affecting Incorporated Societies.

Big changes have come into effect for Incorporated Societies, requiring action by April 2026 to continue operating. This includes re-registration and compliance with new financial reporting requirements.

Join us to get clarity on what these changes mean for your organisation.

Katie (Hui-E!) and Michelle (Volunteering NZ) will host:

  • Steven Moe (Partner at Parry Field Lawyers, 20 years’ experience)
  • Representatives from XRB (Crown Entity setting financial reporting standards)
  • IRD representative.

By the end of the webinar you will know what to do and where to go for support. It will cover:

  • Re-registration process
  • New financial reporting standards and templates
  • Tax implications
  • Where to find support.

Bring along your questions for our Q&A session.

Before the webinar, we recommend you:

  1. Check out if you are an Incorporated Society here
  2. Think about whether an Incorporated Society is the right entity type for your group here
  3. Find out about the re-registration process here
  4. See the new financial reporting standards here.

This webinar is for those in leadership or governance roles in Incorporated Societies, or anyone seeking more information on these changes.

We look forward to seeing you there and helping you navigate these important changes.
