The Nelson Tasman Disability Providers Forum is an quarterly meeting with an overarching purpose of strengthening the sector to improve outcomes for the community.
This event is intended for providers, organisations and groups that support individuals and their families with disabilities.
Following feedback from our last meeting we will create a range of opportunities for sector networking along with presentations from Fire and Emergency NZ, The Buzz and the local Needs Assessment Service Coordination (NASC) team. More details on presentation content to come closer to the date.
Elma Turner Library Expansion Now Open
Library staff are excited to welcome the public back into the expanded Elma Turner Library.
Come in and explore the space, and feel free to ask friendly library staff for any help finding what you need.
Library staff are excited to welcome the public back into the expanded Elma Turner Library as 70% of the public space is reopened after earthquake strengthening and repairs.
The extended space means the library has more space to host events and can resume assisting people with their historical research in the Research Room. Additional seating, study areas, lounges, public computers and charging docks are now also available.
Come in and explore the space, and feel free to ask friendly library staff for any help finding what you need. Holds remain free until the full reopening of Elma Turner Library in February
