New Webinar series
Rob Jackson webinar series 2025:
Effective influencing for volunteer managers
Wednesdays: 12 February, 26 February, 12 March, at 10 – 11.30am online
Join us for a live webinar series with Rob Jackson, a world-renowned expert in the voluntary sector.
Session one, 12 Feb: Influencing as a key skill for volunteer engagement professionals
In our first session together, we will explore why influencing is a key skill for volunteer engagement professionals. We’ll work together to explore why and how you should articulate the unique contribution that volunteers bring to your organisation. All of this will lay the foundation for our next two sessions.
Session two, 26 Feb: Influencing strategies
In our second session we’ll dive into influencing strategies in a bit more depth. What change do you want to see? Who are your stakeholders? Which of them do you need to influence? How can you gain support from others? What can you actually influence, and how best to focus your efforts?
Session three, 12 Mar: Measuring and communicating volunteer contribution
In our third session we’ll look at how we might measure and communicate the contribution volunteers make to our organisation. What are the pros and cons of counting hours and calculating notional wage figures? Is there a better approach we could be using? How do we tailor our data to the right audience we want to influence?
Cost: $30/ session for members, $40/ session for non-members.
A globally renowned thought leader, I work with organisations and individuals around the world who want to get better at engaging and inspiring people to bring about change through volunteering.
