Year 11 students from Nayland College's Foundation Certificate seeking volunteering opportunities that will allow hands-on experience that contribute to the community. We have around 22 students, and they are a mixture of 15-16-year-olds. We would be open to doing a full class at the same time or we could individualise to the different students. During school hours would be best but we can work around this if we need to. We can have 2 or 3 teachers there to support as well. Volunteers wanted at Waimarama Community Gardens
We meet as a group of volunteers on Wednesday mornings 9.30 – 12 approx.
We weed plant clear clean construct and have fun. Morning tea is provided around 11am (with food). Tools provided just bring yourself. Bus stop very close on Brook St. Enquiries to Sally 0211709443.
