FREE AI opportunity

The Nelson AI Sandbox, in collaboration with Rātā Foundation, is seeking expressions of interest from community organisations in the Nelson-Tasman region, to participate in a groundbreaking AI education and empowerment initiative.

This FREE project aims to bridge the digital divide by providing essential AI literacy and practical tools to the governance bodies of non-profits and community organisations, enabling them to harness the power of AI for positive social impact.

Project Overview:

• AI Education: Delivering AI training programmes tailored to the needs of governance bodies.
• AI Support: Providing support to organisations as they begin their AI journey.
• AI Ethics & Safety: Promoting responsible AI practices and mitigating potential risks.
• AI Practicalities: Helping organisations figure out practical uses of AI that build capacity.

The goal of this programme is to build the capacity and resilience of local non-profits and community organisations, strengthening our overall community.

By participating, your organisation can:

• Enhance AI literacy among your board and committee members.
• Identify and implement innovative AI-driven solutions around governance.
