Year 11 students from Nayland College's Foundation Certificate seeking volunteering opportunities that will allow hands-on experience that contribute to the community. We have around 22 students, and they are a mixture of 15-16-year-olds. We would be open to doing a full class at the same time or we could individualise to the different students. During school hours would be best but we can work around this if we need to. We can have 2 or 3 teachers there to support as well. Miscellany – a mixture from around the motu
A Pop Up Exhibition of Handmade books, presented by the Association of Book Crafts NZ.
A Pop Up Exhibition of Handmade books at Elma Turner Library.
Friday 13 September – Sunday 15 September during the library opening hours.
MISCELLANY is a five-part collection of handmade books from around Aotearoa.
Two of the categories are collaborations between individual hand printers and members of the Association of Book Crafts.
Along with miniature “You Are Quoting Shakespeare” books, examples from a New From Old competition and several entries from last year’s inaugural John Sansom Memorial Competition, they showcase the depth and breadth of the printing and binding crafts in Aotearoa.
