Season’s Greetings and Work and Income’s holiday opening hours

Please note that most Work and Income service centres will be open for our normal business hours through the festive season, other than on weekends and statutory holidays. However, Tākaka’s office will close until 8 January.

Thank you for all of your support this year in helping New Zealanders with what continues to be a challenging time for us all.

Please note that most Work and Income service centres will be open for our normal business hours through the festive season, other than on weekends and statutory holidays.

The exceptions in our Region are the Westport Service Centre which will have reduced hours 10am to 2pm on work days from 27 December to 5 January, inclusive; and our smaller sites at Tākaka and Kaikōura will close for the holiday break, reopening on 8 January.

Our Contact Centre will operate with the exception of statutory holidays and Sundays and will be available on Saturdays 8am to 1pm.  For general enquiries call 0800 559 009; seniors 0800 552 002; StudyLink 0800 88 99 00.
