A Curtain Bank for Nelson Tasman?

I am keen to establish a Curtain Bank in Nelson. A curtain bank works by getting donations of good quality second hand curtains and redistributing them to families in need of good window coverings to improve the warmth, comfort and health of their homes. Families would usually be referred through health and social agencies. Curtains are not part of the healthy homes standards, yet can make a huge difference – but they can also be beyond the financial resources of many families.
Having taken some initial steps towards establishing this, I would now love to hear from anyone else who would be interested in working on this with me. Even just a couple of people with the drive to join me on a working group to pursue this initiative – taking the next steps to find an umbrella organisation, funding, premises, volunteers and set up the operational processes etc.
