Navigate the fiscal squeeze 💰

Join our online workshop to learn practical strategies for non-profits to thrive in uncertain times, held over two dates: 11 and 18 Sept, 6-8pm. Tickets: $39 ex GST via Humanitix. Book your spot today.

In the face of shifting government priorities and a funding squeeze, a new workshop aims to help non-profits in the Te Tauihu region navigate these uncertain times. The Te Tauihu Community Development Agency, in partnership with SociaLink, is hosting “Improving financial and service sustainability for non-profits in uncertain times.”

This practical workshop offers a space for organisations to come together and have an “honest talk about keeping our mahi sustainable”. It will provide a straight-up look at what’s happening in the sector and offer practical strategies for responding to funding and policy shake-ups. The workshop is designed to help non-profits understand their true value and secure funding that reflects it.

Facilitated by Tracy Stockman, who has more than 25 years of experience in the non-profit sector, the event promises expert advice. One recent participant praised the workshop, saying the expert advice is “worth the time to commit”.

The workshop includes two online sessions (11th and 18th September, 6-8pm). The cost is $39 ex GST per person, and it offers an opportunity to not only learn new skills but also to connect with other organisations and hear “stories from the flaxroots” about how they are adapting to the changes. As the workshop’s messaging emphasises, in times like these, “we’re stronger together”.
