Year 11 students from Nayland College's Foundation Certificate seeking volunteering opportunities that will allow hands-on experience that contribute to the community. We have around 22 students, and they are a mixture of 15-16-year-olds. We would be open to doing a full class at the same time or we could individualise to the different students. During school hours would be best but we can work around this if we need to. We can have 2 or 3 teachers there to support as well. Gulaan, a New Caledonian musician from the island of Maré, has been a leading figure in the indigenous music movement from the Pacific for more than 30 years. Join him for a special evening of music and stories as Gulaan shares important pieces, and the contexts they sit within, from his back catalogue. Gulaan will be joined by local musicians Alvaro Moreno and Chris Mulholland (Suena Oro) and Morgan Freedom (The Immigrannz) as his backing band.
