Year 11 students from Nayland College's Foundation Certificate seeking volunteering opportunities that will allow hands-on experience that contribute to the community. We have around 22 students, and they are a mixture of 15-16-year-olds. We would be open to doing a full class at the same time or we could individualise to the different students. During school hours would be best but we can work around this if we need to. We can have 2 or 3 teachers there to support as well. This event is open to artists, storytellers, musicians, and anyone who appreciates cultural expression. Whether you want to perform, share your work, or simply listen, your presence adds to the experience.
HOW IT WORKS?
Each act will have 5 to 15 minutes, depending on participation and audience feedback.
All topics are welcome—art, culture, personal stories, and social/political issues. However, this is a respectful and safe space—no abusive or aggressive language will be allowed.
