Year 11 students from Nayland College's Foundation Certificate seeking volunteering opportunities that will allow hands-on experience that contribute to the community. We have around 22 students, and they are a mixture of 15-16-year-olds. We would be open to doing a full class at the same time or we could individualise to the different students. During school hours would be best but we can work around this if we need to. We can have 2 or 3 teachers there to support as well. Most Work & Income Service Centres across the motu will be open for normal business hours throughout the Festive Season and only closed on Statutory Holidays and weekends. There are three exceptions in our Region.

The exceptions for our Region are:
• Westport will have reduced hours, 10am to 2pm, from Friday 27 December to Friday 3 January, inclusive
• Tākaka will be closed from Friday 27 December to Friday 3 January, inclusive
• Kaikōura will be closed from Friday 27 December to Friday 3 January, inclusive
