Year 11 students from Nayland College's Foundation Certificate seeking volunteering opportunities that will allow hands-on experience that contribute to the community. We have around 22 students, and they are a mixture of 15-16-year-olds. We would be open to doing a full class at the same time or we could individualise to the different students. During school hours would be best but we can work around this if we need to. We can have 2 or 3 teachers there to support as well. Nelson Tasman Disabilty Providers Forum
A chance for disability providers in the Nelson/Tasman region to come together!
The Nelson Tasman Disability Providers Forum is a quarterly meeting with an overarching purpose of strengthening the sector to improve outcomes for the community.
This event is intended for providers, organisations and groups that support individuals and their families with disabilities.
There will be opportunities for sector networking along with speakers including Sophie Ward from Choices NZ and Jana Neynens from Able Gardeners.
The intended outcomes of the forum are:
- To build and strengthen relationships across the sector
- Share information – Learn and korero with other organisations about the diverse range of supports in our region
- Increase capacity and understanding of effective collaboration and identify opportunities to work better together
- Brainstorm ideas and identify sector energy for regular collaborative events

Registrations will open from 9am with the event start time of 9.30am and finish at 11.00am. Morning tea will be provided.
An interpreter will be present.
