Cancer Education and Prevention Expo
Held at Victory Community Centre from 1-4pm, with presentations on cancer screening and prevention for common cancers.
For former refugee communities, interpreters will be present to translate into Vietnamese, Chin Hakha/Burmese, Nepali, Urdu, Spanish and Karenni; and a new cancer information pamphlet translated into these languages will also be available.
Cancer Society Nelson Tasman in partnership with local Refugee Health Services is offering this Cancer Education and Prevention Expo at Victory Community Centre on Saturday 13 September, 1pm-4pm. All welcome.
Local health professionals and cancer services will present on:
- Breast and Cervical Screening
- Bowel Screening
- Prostate Cancer
- Skin Cancer and prevention
- Lung cancer and prevention/Smokefree
- and local support services.
