Each month, Nelson Weekly publishes a 'Local Legend' feature sponsored by Nelson Auto Glass Specialists. A recipient is nominated by a member of the public and will receive a bunch of flowers and a $50 Pressy card - with a photo in the paper and a short article about the work that they do, and why they love it. All we need is their name, contact number, and a sentence or two about why you are nominating the person. The recipient needs to be nominated for something they have done in a voluntary capacity, be happy to share their story with the TSM team and have a photo taken with the sponsor. No matter how big or small the role, TSM would like to acknowledge the amazing people who live in our region and help make the world a better place. Please join Life Linc Counselling in celebrating another year of service by joining us for our Annual General Meeting on June 9th, 2025.
After 50 years of providing affordable counselling in the Nelson-Tasman region, Life Linc is continuing to grow and change. Please join us as we celebrate the last year at Life Linc Nelson Incorporated for our AGM on June 9th. As of June 1st, we are now officially a Charitable Trust!
Life Linc Charitable Trust, operating as Life Linc Counselling, will continue to provide low-cost, affordable counselling to individuals and couples in the Nelson-Tasman region. Our re-organisation and name change reflect our values and better align with our purpose to serve the community we live in. Locally based and with no government funding, we rely on the donations from our users, grants and local sponsorship to keep us running. Our board is full of enthusiastic people and we are always welcome to new supporters joining us.
If you are interested in joining Life Linc Charitable Trust (we’re after a board secretary!) or just want to learn more about the organisation- please come along to the AGM on June 9th at Shone and Shirley Funeral Directors. The doors open at 5:30pm and we hope to get straight into the meeting. Light refreshments and hot drinks will be available. Park around back and the entrance is along the side of the building.
