Year 11 students from Nayland College's Foundation Certificate seeking volunteering opportunities that will allow hands-on experience that contribute to the community. We have around 22 students, and they are a mixture of 15-16-year-olds. We would be open to doing a full class at the same time or we could individualise to the different students. During school hours would be best but we can work around this if we need to. We can have 2 or 3 teachers there to support as well. The Nelson Tasman Disability Providers Forum is a quarterly meeting with an overarching purpose of strengthening the sector to improve outcomes for the disabled community.

The focus for this forum is around rangatahi who fall through the gaps who have unacknowledged disabilities, and how we can work together to bridge the gaps. Our speakers include:
- A representative from the Ministry of Education
- Stewart Mckean – Transition Coordinator – Waimea College
- Kim Holmes – Transition Pathways and Community Connections (Pilot programme run by NCC through Nayland College).
