Governance Bites – The Role of the Chair & Getting People to Participate

July 4, 2019 @ 5:15 am - 7:00 pm

Participation is the purpose. Otherwise you may as well send an email. But how do you actually engage people? You’ll find out handy tips to generate ideas, get things done while you have fun, and make practical use of consensus decision-making (while avoiding ‘group think’).

The session will be led by Garth Nowland-Foreman, an experienced trainer and facilitator, and non-profit governance expert. Garth is a director of the LEAD Centre for Not for Profit Governance and Leadership www.lead.org.nz.

To register for this free workshop funded by the Rata Foundation, please complete the registration form here or for more information call 03 546 7681 or email [email protected]
