Welcome to Volunteer Nelson!
The Nelson Tasman region has a surprising variety of volunteering opportunities - there really is something to suit everyone's interests and skills.
If you are a community group in need of resources or volunteers, you're in the right place as well! Please contact us to see how we can help.
Volunteer Nelson is a not for profit organisation established in 1994 to support in all aspects of volunteerism. We help match individual interests with groups who need volunteers and ensure that local community groups have the people and resources they need to function well. We also advocate in the community on behalf of volunteers, provide training for both volunteers and for the groups they work for and promote volunteering to the community at large.
