DESCRIPTION:Come & meet your community at our Nelson Connects Volunteer Expo on Saturday 7 March 10am – 2pm Annesbrook Church\, 40 Saxton Road West\, Stoke (diagonally opposite PIC’s Peanut Butter). Whether you are a teenager\, soon-to-be retiree\, able-bodied or challenged\, English speaker or learning\, this expo is for you! The Nelson Connects Volunteer Expo is Nelson’s first Volunteer Expo and over 30 community organisations will be there to tell you all about the work. they do and ways you can get involved to help them help our community – whether it be in arts and heritage\, helping animals\, caring for older people or young families or supporting former refugees settle in Nelson. There’s something for everyone.
