St John Nelson Store – Volunteer information afternoon
We are looking for enthusiastic people who can give 4 hours a week to volunteer in our Nelson store. We have a variety of roles available and a fun team! Join us for an information afternoon tea on Thursday 19 October or phone Stacie on 035488598 to find out more.
The St John Nelson Store at 46 Rutherford Street, Nelson, raises vital funds to support our local Ambulance and Community Services, including our Health Shuttle, Therapy Pets, Friends of the Emergency Department at Nelson Hospital and Caring Caller services, and our 3 Steps for Life and Youth Programmes.
We need caring, reliable volunteers to support our Store. There is plenty of variety when working in our store – customer service, visual merchandising, sorting goods, delivery/pickup of household items plus more.
If can spare 4 hours a week and would like to give back to your community, develop new skills and meet lots of great people, please come along to our afternoon tea at the Store on Thursday 19 October, from 3.30pm. You are welcome to bring a friend. As well as learning about volunteering instore, there will be afternoon tea, a raffle…and time to shop and receive 20% off store purchases!
