Tasman District Council Outstanding Community Service Awards

Every year our Outstanding Community Service Awards officially recognise and celebrate these special people who make our communities tick.

Do you know a community superhero?

Not all superheroes wear capes or leap tall buildings in a single bound.

Some are unassuming, moving among us virtually unheard of and unseen, working tirelessly in our Tasman communities.

Some assist at sports clubs, volunteer in environmental groups or help with the administration of community organisations.

Every year our Outstanding Community Service Awards officially recognise and celebrate these special people who make our communities tick.

If you know one of these unsung heroes who works away quietly with little recognition or reward, please get in touch and nominate them for one of our Outstanding Community Service Awards before August 31. It would be fantastic to get a wide range of nominations for people from diverse backgrounds 😊.

Nominations close on 31 August with an awards ceremony planned for later in the year.

Nominees must be current residents of Tasman District and have been involved in a range of voluntary activities for 20 years or more (but not necessarily in Tasman).
