National Youth Week 2023 – Rangatira mō āpōpō? Rangatira i tēnei rā! Leaders of tomorrow? Leaders for today! It’s time to celebrate our young people in Nelson/Tasman.
National Youth Week is from the 15th – 21st of May and the theme this year is Rangatira mō āpōpō? Rangatira i tēnei rā! Leaders of tomorrow? Leaders for today! Whanake Youth and many other organisations throughout Nelson/Tasman are excited to be celebrating rangatahi in a variety of ways throughout youth week.
We have put together a calendar of events that will be happening over youth week. These events are free for young people between the ages of 12 -24 to attend. Some of these events do require registration, depending on the activities, supervision and support required.
Young people do so much in our community and we are excited to celebrate them over this time. Let’s all come together over National Youth Week and acknowledge rangatahi throughout our region, in whatever way we can.
