Community funding role now available at Nelson City Council!

We have a great opportunity for a part-time Community Contracts Adviser (24 hours per week) to join our enthusiastic team. You will co-ordinate our Community Investment Fund process, encourage community groups to meet the needs of our diverse communities, and manage their contracts and funding agreements.

A great part-time role that weaves together community development and grant functions to support Nelson’s communities of greatest need is now open! This role will involve running our grants programmes to support people in the following areas:

• access to healthy sustainable homes
• clear pathways to employment, education and training
• strong social connections
• are best placed to limit the impacts of poverty
