A community thrives when locals connect and collaborate to realise the potential of their place. Inspiring Communities are partnering with Volunteer Nelson to deliver this workshop. It is facilitated by Kindra Douglas. It will be held on the 27th October at the Habitat Hub in Tāhunanui, 9.30am - 4pm.
Lianne Clarke from Care Matters is coming to the region to support families, her workshops are well recommended. They are fully funded, and an opportunity for caregivers to seek tailored support. Professionals – please pass this to any families that you work with.
EXPLORE – LEARN – CONNECT
We aim to ensure workshops meet local interests and needs. Topics many carers have requested at previous workshops include:
Enabling Good Lives and Planning for the Future
Please note that this is OPEN for caregivers of children/youth with any kind of challenging behaviour/difficulties. There does not need to be a formal diagnosis for caregivers to attend. Spaces are limited to 20 per workshop.
