As you may be aware Strengthening Families is being disestablished at the end of March due to funding changes/priorities.
This has been a successful, active service supporting a strength based collaborative approach for many vulnerable families in the region since the late 1990's.
Care Matters – Free workshop for family, whanau and carers of children and adults with disabilities | Richmond 30 August
Lianne Clarke from Care Matters is coming to the region to support families, her workshops are well recommended. They are fully funded, and an opportunity for caregivers to seek tailored support. Professionals – please pass this to any families that you work with.

Please note that this is OPEN for caregivers of children/youth with any kind of challenging behaviour/difficulties. There does not need to be a formal diagnosis for caregivers to attend. Spaces are limited to 20 per workshop.
