WAVES Suicide Bereavement 8 week Programme
Yellow Brick Road Nelson will be running their first Nelson WAVES group starting on June 7th, 7 pm to 9 pm, at a venue to be confirmed. (but in Stoke or Richmond).
If you or someone you know has been affected by the suicide of someone you know and are 17 years or older, you might be interested in joining an 8-week WAVES suicide bereavement group programme this year.
There is one group session each week.

Come and be proactive about your health
Health Information afternoon will be held at Victory Community Centre May 21st, 1pm to 3pm.
Interpreters will be available on the day.
You will have the opportunity to learn and ask questions with health professionals.
Topics of health will be:
· Heart health
· stroke health
· Smokefree
· Diabetes health
· Dietician for advice with food and healthy eating
· Hauora Health: Health and well being assessments

Pùtangitangi Greenmeadows Centre in Stoke has 6 rooms to hire that range from 200 to 16 square meters & 3 rooms have access to a kitchen / servery. We have a pricing structure that is set, generally if you are from the community sector you will pay the community rate for room hire.

NCC Venue Hire Fund - this is available for community organisation to apply to and cover
venue hire costs at NCC owned facilities.
To get here the centre is on the main bus route, we have 25 bike racks, 5 mobility scooter chargers points plus we have 43 car parks.
For catering you can do your own, buy in from a supermarket or use café or bring in your own caterer.
