Community Networks Aotearoa represents member organisations across the motu in the NGO and community sectors. Our Vision is to provide a voice for local communities. We do this through providing information, training and resources to member groups enabling them to empower communities to meet their social needs.
Our latest project is an online course called ‘Tick for Governance’, open to all in the community sector. This fun, easy and engaging online course has been developed to help you and your community organisation learn and be recognised for good governance skills and practices. It is a chance to upskill members of our sector involved in governing and managing organisations.
We are really excited to be launching the platform at our Conference in February 2022 – in the meantime, you can find out more and sign up for updates at https://www.communitynetworksaotearoa.org.nz/tickforgovernance
