Erika & CoCo Flash are bringing their Rainbow Storytime and Living Library sessions to Nelson!
Rainbow Storytime is a chance to hear books about acceptance, diversity, inclusion and being kind, play some fun games and meet some fabulous drag queens with plenty of colours and glitter! Open to children of all ages.
Living Library is designed around learning about how the duo became Erika & Coco, how they identify and is a chance to ask any questions you have about the LGBTQIA+ community.
Connected Communities with Top of the South Neighbourhood Support
Community begins with you and your neighbours. Top of the South Neighbourhood Support believes that when connected, neighbourhood groups can drive positive improvements to safety, resilience and well-being. Connected Communities is a free 2-hour workshop that will provide you with practical tools and useful information to help you connect with your neighbours and make a meaningful impact in your community. We invite you to join the community-led movement to connect in Nelson Central at the Nelson Centre of Music on October 9, and in Nelson North at the Atawhai Church on October 30. The Wakefield workshop will be postponed until a later date. To reserve your place, email [email protected] of fill in a form here
