If you have a great idea for telling people about Nelson’s heritage, Nelson City Council would like to hear it.
Louise Crowe will be delivering a Resilience and Wellbeing workshop on Tuesday 31 August from 1.30 – 3.30pm at the Habitat Hub, 166 Tahunanui Drive. The Habitat Hub is Volunteer Nelson’s new home and has a number of meeting rooms and spaces available to use. This training will be held in the Board Room. Volunteer Nelson have done staff professional development with Louise before and are delighted to be able to partner with Louise to offer this training out to the wider community sector. There is a cost to the training, but putting you wellbeing first is vitally important and we believe it is well worth the investment.
This two hour course provides you with practical and effective techniques to improve your personal wellbeing, and strategies to cope with life’s pressures. You will learn how to identify your personal stress triggers & create awareness of the link between pressure, performance and your wellbeing. Some of the techniques taught will be thought reframing, breathing and sleep exercises, including general wellbeing practices.
