Join us for the 5th Sunrise Walk for Wellbeing to kick off Mental health Awareness Week. This years theme is Mens Mental Health, and will be a 5 km walk around Saxton Field, starting with a guest speaker and finishing with morning tea and chance to browse mental health & wellbeing resources
ABOUT THE WALK
Walk and talk with your whanau, friends, workmates and remember to wear Yellow!
When: Sunday 26 September 2021 at 9am
Where: Saxton Field (start and finish at the Cricket Oval Pavilion)
What: A 5km loop around the Saxton Field pathways
Morning tea will be provided at the finish where you can connect with those around you and browse the mental health and wellbeing resources.
The event is free but koha is appreciated with all proceeds from the walk donated to Yellow Brick Road Nelson, an organisation that provides mental health support for families and whānau.
If you’re bringing a dog, please keep it on a lead at all times and remain on the pathways.
