Erika & CoCo Flash are bringing their Rainbow Storytime and Living Library sessions to Nelson! Rainbow Storytime is a chance to hear books about acceptance, diversity, inclusion and being kind, play some fun games and meet some fabulous drag queens with plenty of colours and glitter! Open to children of all ages. Living Library is designed around learning about how the duo became Erika & Coco, how they identify and is a chance to ask any questions you have about the LGBTQIA+ community.
The Community and Whànau Nelson Network hui on Wednesday August 11th will be on at the Habitat Hub/Restore at 166 Tahunanui Drive, Tahunanui. The new home of Volunteer Nelson. We will then decide whether we will stay at the Hub or go back to the Trafalgar Park Pavilion. The hui is from 12 pm – 1.30 pm. The agenda will be emailed closer to the time. There is parking at Tosswill Reserve, next to the Tahunanui Lawn Bowls and roadside if the Hub is busy. We hope to see you there!
