If you have a great idea for telling people about Nelson’s heritage, Nelson City Council would like to hear it.
The University of Canterbury Student Volunteer Army is interested in bringing around 80 volunteers to Nelson and are looking out for potential volunteer work. They welcome any project size (i.e. does not have to take all 80 volunteers).
If you are interested, please contact Breanna Greaney on 02040732279 or send an email to [email protected]
My name is Breanna Greaney and I am one of the Events Managers for the University of Canterbury Student Volunteer Army. SVA is a student-run club, created in the wake of the 2010 and 2011 Christchurch Earthquakes. We aim to provide volunteering opportunities for students and make a positive impact on the communities around us.
I am interested in bringing around 80 volunteers up to Nelson from the 7th to the 9th of May. The volunteering work will be done on the 8th of May and will be around 5 hours of work. Please note, these projects do not have to take all 80 volunteers.
We will try to stay based in Nelson but do have vans that can transport volunteers to the volunteering locations. If you are interested in hosting volunteers or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me on 02040732279 or email me at [email protected]
