The University of Canterbury Student Volunteer Army is interested in bringing around 80 volunteers to Nelson and are looking out for potential volunteer work. Starting in April 2021, there will be a series of seven FREE workshops aimed at not-for-profits and designed to strengthen governance and financial sustainability. Each session will be led by Harald Breiding-Buss of Community Capacity Accounting, a charitable organisation providing low cost accounting solutions to not-for-profits.

Shone and Shirley funeral directors have a lounge we are willing to lend out to groups to up 20 people from 5.30pm onwards for their meetings. Regular monthly meetings would be ideal however if we have a late funeral then we would advise the group of this.
