Nelson Environment Centre – Funding Coordinator The Nelson Environment Centre is a social enterprise that helps the Nelson Tasman community live more sustainably and reduce its impact on the environment. We’re proud to have been serving our community since 1976. Our aim is to inspire, inform and assist people to meet today’s environmental challenges. We help people to recycle, reduce waste and energy use. We empower them to create healthy soils and gardens, and to live well.
As we begin to enter into the ‘silly season’, now is the time that many of us begin to consider our aspirations for the year ahead. Recently New World Stoke shared how their staff had come together with support from a ‘Quit Coach’ to become smokefree:
The team at the Nelson Marlborough Stop Smoking Service are seeking workplaces who are ready to come together to support staff to reach their goals and begin their smokefree journeys in 2021.
Offering free, face-to-face, onsite support for workplace groups across the Nelson Marlborough region, the smokefree team are ready to help.
People accessing support through the service, whether it be through a workplace group or individually, are additionally able to recieve some free nicotine replacement products from their Quit Coach.
Wondering if this free support is for you, your team or your workplace? Give health promoter Gayle Hay a bell to find out more, as well as what other free wellbeing support options are available to your workplace.
