Nelson Tasman Business Trust, in partnership with Rata Foundation, is looking for up to ten Community organisations to enrol for 12 months of individual tailored mentoring with an experienced Business Mentor, four targeted training workshops and regular group meetings. This unique 12-month programme offering by the Trust will deliver experienced business advisory support and capability development targeted at the specific needs of the programme participants, as well as common challenges in the local non-profit sector.
It is intended that the programme:
• Develop the management and operational effectiveness of the non-profit, enhancing resilience in the current economic landscape.
• Be a tailored learning opportunity that facilitates connection, collaboration, and peer support for the community sector.
• Help to underpin a strong and vibrant non-profit sector in our region, impacting directly and positively on the wellbeing of the people and whānau that make up our community.
A tailored 12-month programme of this nature in the business sector would likely cost upwards of $3000 and is being provided at just $295 +gst.
