Yeah! - Free Computer classes are back at Richmond Library. Create a photobook for family, demystify TradeMe or learn how to use Facebook. All classes are small informal groups where there is plenty of hands on practice and question time. These great introductory computer classes are available again from August.
We're looking for two smallish rectangular desks in good condition, one to share with Supporting Families as a hot desk, and the other for our office at Volunteer Nelson. If you have any to sell or donate we'd love to hear from you.
Alzheimers Nelson runs monthly support groups for carers of people with dementia. We also run a variety of social groups for people living with dementia, for those with early memory loss and a monthly morning coffee group. We also run a Library Drop-in Clinic providing Dementia information and advice. If you are interested in joining, please get in touch with us to find a group / service most suitable for you.
