Nook. Outside Area The work has begun on the outside area…
Do you want to complete ALL / ANY of our 8 complex trauma workshops during this period of ‘social distancing’? We have made the decision to provide our ‘face-to-face’ training materials to you – for a limited time!
How does it work?
2. We will send the materials to you via DROPBOX OR post you a USB (within 24 hours) containing the following: a copy of the PowerPoint slides for the workshop/s you book into which includes numerous hyperlinked videos; workbooks (for What’s in the Box? and Elephant in the Room! only); the handouts including any case studies; and the ‘Additional Reading’ materials (20 – 30 articles per workshop).
3. You read through the PowerPoint slides, complete any case studies / activities, watch the videos (there are up to 20 videos hyperlinked in the 2 day workshops), read some of the ‘Additional Reading’ etc. You can do as much of the extra reading as you need, to ensure you have a thorough understanding of the topic.
4. (OPTIONAL) We will provide you with a 1 hour coaching session via ZOOM OR the telephone to answer any questions, discuss the case studies, explain more complex ‘brain science’ concepts etc. You have as long as you need to do your own ‘homework’. When you are ready, you email us to book in the coaching session. These will be offered at a variety of times to accommodate workers across Australian and New Zealand time zones.
Please note: If demand is high, a very experienced Social Worker / Trainer colleague who has completed our ‘Trauma Puzzle Facilitator Training’ and has an excellent understanding of complex trauma will be providing some of the 1 hour coaching sessions.
5. You will receive a ‘Certificate of Completion’ after the 1 hour coaching session, for each of the workshops you have completed.
Due to a number of requests from students, we are offering a TERTIARY STUDENT SPECIAL of $99.00 plus GST per workshop for any recent graduates (2019) and current students at any tertiary institution or RTO. Our Complex Trauma workshops are relevant to students across humanities, health, education, law and all social sciences. They are very interesting!
If you have any concerns about the quality of our workshops, please check out a small selection of our TESTIMONIALS here.
