Multicultural Nelson Tasman invites you to join a MULTICULTURAL TENNIS DAY at Richmond Tennis Club, 18a Gladstone Rd, Richmond, Nelson on Saturday 20 July 2019, 11-2pm (rainy alternate day is Saturday 27th) $5 koha for BBQ

2. Soldiers without Guns! Come and join us to watch this ‘Proud to be Kiwi or Kiwi-to-be’ documentary about kiwi soldiers who brought peace to Bougainville with music and guitars! Soldiers Without Guns will be screened on Friday, 26 July 2019 7-8:30pm at The Suter Theatre, Bridge Street, Nelson – $25 tickets available online through www.trybooking.com

★ This Soldiers Without Guns documentary was handed a GOLD award at the Queen Palm International Film Festival (Palm Springs, California) in June, 2019
★ Kapa Haka by Tamariki Toa – part of the funds raised from the movie night will go towards Tamariki Toa for going to their national competition in November 2019
★ Music by Kramit – Acoustic Duo. Two original songs in the film are from our local musicians Candy & John (Kramit – Acoustic Duo).We are so proud to have their live performance for the night.  Multicultural Nelson Tasman

18.8.2019 – Sun, 11-4pm – COLOMBIAN DAY @ Founders Heritage Park, Nelson FREE – Celebrate the Colombian Culture with music, dancing, songs, games, arts/crafts, pinata making and great food

1.11.2019 – Fri, 4-9pm – MERCADO LATINO @ Kirby Lane, Nelson FREE – First time ever, enjoy traditional Latino Market with amazing locally hand-made arts/crafts, music, dancing and great food
 
8.2.2020 – Sat, 4-9pm – TASMAN ASIAN NIGHT FOOD FAIR @ Washbourn Gardens, Richmond, Nelson – FREE – the best outside market of delicious food and incredible local talent from our wonderful Asian communities. (rainy alternate day is 15.2.2019)
 
22.3.2020 – Sun, 11-4pm – RACE UNITY DAY @ Victory Square Park, Nelson – FREE – our biggest Multicultural Event in Nelson/Tasman!  In 2019, we had 88 food, info, arts/crafts stalls and 33 performance acts (of 200 performers) from 22 cultures around the world.  Great event for the whole family to celebrate cultural diversity and understanding.
