Volunteering New Zealand will be launching an interactive map of New Zealand during #NVW2019. They want it to be jam packed with fabulous volunteer stories!
They want these stories to be told by volunteers – in their own words about their own volunteer experiences. They want to celebrate the rich diversity of volunteering within Aotearoa and to inspire more people to volunteer!
Stories to demonstrate:
They would love to receive stories from you that reflect:
The #NVW2019 theme Whiria te tangata – weaving the people together.
A sense of the diversity of what volunteers do and who they are, and their connections with others.
Volunteering, Mahi Aroha and social action that weaves people and communities together.
What they need from you…
1-2 stories. One volunteer story and/or one story about your group or organisation.
Photos (Profile photo of the volunteers/group shot and/or a photo of the volunteering activity).
Story Text: approximately 300-600 words/per story. It could be a few quotes, long text story or simply a Q+A. Whatever you prefer!
They will need an address for the story – so it can be located on the map.>>
