Hearing Nelson invite you to attend one of the presentations on Tinnitus, hearing loss and the connection to brain health. Professor Peter Thorne from Auckland University is recognized internationally as a leader in the field of diseases of the inner ear, effects of noise and the consequences of ageing on the auditory system. Peter will present research findings on how hearing loss impacts and influences brain function within a wider context of biological, social and emotional health.
The first CLD learning network meeting of the year will be held at the Victory Community Centre on Tuesday the 19th March from 12.30 to 1.30pm. The CLD (Community led development) network is a peer-led learning network that meet every 3rd Tuesday at different venues throughout the community.
