If you have a great idea for telling people about Nelson’s heritage, Nelson City Council would like to hear it.
This is a permanent role (30 hours per week) which provides an opportunity to make a difference for the lives of women across our community (the Centre is a women-only place for all women to use).
The Nelson Women’s Centre/Te Whare Awhina mo nga wahine puawai provides a wide range of services including social worker support for women and their families, counselling, workshops and social events, and a safe and welcoming women-only place for all women to use. We are passionate about what we do, and central to this is the role of the Coordinator, who acts as a lynchpin to ensure that the Centre succeeds in its goal of empowering women to be safe, resourceful, to value themselves and reach their potential.
Information on the role and how to apply are available through the link below, or contact Karen Lee ([email protected]) for more information.
