We're please to advise that we'll be running a C.A.P. money course. This is a free course starting on 3rd August for three consecutive weeks. The first week is about creating a budget. The second week is about balancing the budget and ways to increase income or cutback, cut down and cut out expenses. The last week is about preparing for those one off expenses through savings - even a small bit helps. Front of House for Isel Heritage House in Stoke.
Do you have a free morning or afternoon each week? (2 1/2 hours)
Isel Heritage House needs Front of House volunteers to keep the doors of this grand old house open. Primary tasks are to:
• Greet visitors
• Take entry donations
• Give basic information about the house
• Open and close the house – We are particularly looking for people to do:
• Thursday afternoons
• Saturday and Sunday shifts
• On call, when other volunteers are unavailable
House is open in the Summer from October until April.
Skills needed: Someone with a passion for history or heritage, good peoples skills – enjoys interacting with others.
Benefits: Giving back to the community, keeping Nelson’s history alive, huge feel good factor. Keeping this grand old house and icon of Nelsons heritage open for visitors from all over the world.
