Nelson City Council has some used office furniture that is surplus to requirements and is making it available for free to local community groups. Some office chairs, desks and filing cabinets are avialable and there may be some shelves. If your community group is interested in viewing what is available please email [email protected] to arrange a time to view, or if you have any other related queries. Furniture will be available to view between 30th of January and the 3rd of February. Nelson City Council will deliver the furniture to your organisation.
Tea & Talk is held in four separate locations across the Nelson Tasman Region: Nelson City, Victory Square, Richmond and Golden Bay. It provides the opportunity for those aged 65+ years to get together for a weekly cup of tea and a chat. Morning tea is provided and the cost is only $3.
