The Multicultural New Zealand, New Zealand Human Rights Commission, Independent Police Conduct Authority and Hui E have partnered to hold a series of youth workshops nationally, and with support of Nelson Multicultural Council and New Zealand Newcomers network. The purpose of these workshops are to explore some of the barriers youth face when accessing social services particularly when they require assistance. The workshops will provide a positive environment to interact, discuss these issues and mutually educate and inform. We look forward to welcoming you and hope the fun day activity will strengthen our engagement with youth from Maori, Pacific and Ethnic communities including those with former refugee and migrant backgrounds.
