By the end of this workshop participants will be able to: > define maltreatment and list the four types of maltreatment > recognise indicators of each type of maltreatment > explain the impact of maltreatment and family violence on children and young people > identify ways to support a child or young person who has experienced maltreatment or family violence > demonstrate an appropriate response to a disclosure of abuse > Develop a plan to minimise repeated intergenerational maltreatment.
Alzheimers Nelson runs monthly drop in clinics at our local libraries to provide information, advice and support for people living with memory loss. We also run a similar clinic in Golden Bay.
