We're please to advise that we'll be running a C.A.P. money course. This is a free course starting on 3rd August for three consecutive weeks. The first week is about creating a budget. The second week is about balancing the budget and ways to increase income or cutback, cut down and cut out expenses. The last week is about preparing for those one off expenses through savings - even a small bit helps. Applications for 2018/19 Community Investment Fund (CIF) Agreements will open online from Friday 23 February and close Monday 9 April. This year applicants can apply for up to three years of funding, for amounts of $2,500 p.a. and upwards. Community Investment Funding is open for not-for-profit community organisations to apply for. This year applicants will be asked to consider how their project meets the Community Investment Funding Contribution Areas and Priorities for 2018/19, that were developed through engagement with the community last year. Guidelines covering the criteria are now available at http://nelson.govt.nz/services/community/funding/community-investment-funding/ and application forms will go online on 23 February.
