Family Start are seeking applications for a Supervisor, 40 hours per week primarily based in our Nelson Office. The main responsibilities include, clinical supervision, leadership and management of a team of Family Whanau Workers, contract management, service development/safety, back up for Key Contact and networking.

An opportunity for people aged 16-24 years to study for a free Level 3 qualification in Youth Work. The programme is delivered by Volunteer Nelson and Youth and Community Works. The Nelson training week will be held from 22-26 Jan then participants are supported to complete the practical project component over the following 6 months.
This is an opportunity for young people to experience what it is like to be a volunteer in the emergency services. The programme is for 16 – 20 yr olds and will runs from February until June.
