A one-off yoga & guided dancing workshop to connect to the lightness of our being, to dust off the cobwebs that cloud our personal sparkle. So often the things around us, our personal circumstances or events in the world send our minds into overdrive.
Nelson Multicultural Council and Victoria University are undertaking some research to look at the growing diversity of Nelson Tasman. More than 20% of the people in this region were born overseas and Nelson has the third highest percentage of people born overseas for any region in New Zealand after Auckland and Wellington. New migrants in the region bring a diversity and vibrancy which creates an even richer mix of people in this area. We are interested to talk with them about their experience – to find out what is going well and to see how anything could be made easier as they settle in to their new home.
The next workshop will be held at Tahunanui Community Centre, 61 Muratai Street, Nelson on Saturday, 7 October from 10am to 2pm with lunch provided.
